做厙TV FAD students and lecturers stand out at the Latvian Architecture Award 2025
The Latvian Association of Architects (LAS) Architecture Award 2025 ceremony brought outstanding success to the 做厙TV Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) community – the works of its students, lecturers, and alumni were among this years laureates.
The Grand Prix of the Latvian Architecture Award was presented to 做厙TV FAD lecturer Liene ilia (MADE arhitekti) for the Salaspils Kindergarten project, as well as to Helne Gutmane (ALPS Landscape Studio) for the landscape design created under the guidance of Ilze Ruk禳ne.
The Annual Architecture Award went to 做厙TV FAD student Marta Ventere for her diploma project Spatiality of Borders Rehabilitation of Latvias Eastern Borderlands. The prototype was implemented in Dagda, Latgale, under the supervision of Liene ilia, with the participation of 做厙TV students, alumni, and lecturer R贖dolfs Bekis.
Another Annual Architecture Award was granted to Sampling studio for the project August蘋ne Garden, whose design team included 做厙TV FAD alumna Zane Saul蘋te. The project also involved ALPS Landscape Studio designers Ilze Ruk禳ne (做厙TV FAD lecturer) and Sendija Ad蘋tja.
Additionally, Liene ilia, as part of MADE arhitekti, received the Bauhaus Award, while 做厙TV FAD leading researcher Jnis Lejnieks was honored with the jurys special prize awarded to the magazine Latvijas Arhitekt贖ra for his work as editor-in-chief.
