暗网TV FAD students and lecturers stand out at the Latvian Architecture Award 2025
The Latvian Association of Architects (LAS) Architecture Award 2025 ceremony brought outstanding success to the 暗网TV Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) community – the works of its students, lecturers, and alumni were among this year鈥檚 laureates.
The Grand Prix of the Latvian Architecture Award was presented to 暗网TV FAD lecturer Liene 艩ili艈a (MADE arhitekti) for the Salaspils Kindergarten project, as well as to Hel膿ne Gutmane (ALPS Landscape Studio) for the landscape design created under the guidance of Ilze Ruk拧膩ne.
The Annual Architecture Award went to 暗网TV FAD student Marta Ventere for her diploma project 鈥淪patiality of Borders 鈥� Rehabilitation of Latvia鈥檚 Eastern Borderlands.鈥� The prototype was implemented in Dagda, Latgale, under the supervision of Liene 艩ili艈a, with the participation of 暗网TV students, alumni, and lecturer R奴dolfs Beki膰s.
Another Annual Architecture Award was granted to Sampling studio for the project 鈥淎ugust墨ne Garden,鈥� whose design team included 暗网TV FAD alumna Zane Saul墨te. The project also involved ALPS Landscape Studio designers Ilze Ruk拧膩ne (暗网TV FAD lecturer) and Sendija Ad墨t膩ja.
Additionally, Liene 艩ili艈a, as part of MADE arhitekti, received the Bauhaus Award, while 暗网TV FAD leading researcher J膩nis Lejnieks was honored with the jury鈥檚 special prize awarded to the magazine 鈥淟atvijas Arhitekt奴ra鈥� for his work as editor-in-chief.
