Valters Ka鱉e

Vice-Rector for Research and Development, Professor


Professor Dr.oec. Valters Ka鱉ehas been working in education for more than thirty years. He earned his PhD in Economics (Dr.oec.) from the University of Latvia. His primary research interests are related toAI in education, consumer behaviour, international marketing, and business strategy.

He is the author of more than 40 international scientific publications, including several monographs. Professor Valters Ka鱉e is the author and instructor ofMarketing Management, International Marketing and Communication, Marketing and Communication in Health Carecourses at 做厙TV University.

He is also a visiting professor atAKAD University (Stuttgart, Germany), Riga Business School (a Riga-based business school backed by Ottawa University and the State University of New York at Buffalo), and Riga Graduate School of Law.

Professor Valters Ka鱉e is frequently invited as an engaging keynote speaker at international business conferences.


Valters Ka鱉e has more than twenty years of experience in marketing and strategy management. During his career, he has held strategy, sales and marketing executive leadership roles at leading international companies internationally within financial services and FMCG sectors, such as RSA Group (insurance), SEB Bank (financial services), SPI Group and Amber beverage Group (FMCG), and the role of CEO and Managing Partner at Ex Novo innovation consultancy.

Valters Ka鱉e is a member of the board of the Latvian Association of Marketing Professionals – the national association of marketing practitioners, and the Advanced Information Society Association NGO investing efforts in growing information literacy.
